Imani Sabine S. Young, known by many as Sab, is an American-Japanese kindergarten teacher and photographer. Goes by the pronouns she/her. She was born on the 29th of December, 1996, in Manhattan, New York, USA. She graduated with a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education from the University of Santo Tomas.

BACKSTORY

During the months after Imani was born, not much joy surrounded their family. Her father's passing caused a big heartbreak for her mother, career problems got in the way, and all Imani could do was just giggle at her mother when she cooed at her. But the way Imani would grab her finger, her smile, and the gleam in her eyes was enough to bring a bit of hope to her mom.

When Imani could finally stand on her two feet, they moved to Japan. As she grew up, she had no idea who and what her father looked like—but she knew better not to ask her mother who was still in pain even after all the years. All her grandparents could tell her was that she had a similar smile to her father, which explains why her ㅤ

mom would do anything just to see her little girl smile.

It was when Imani turned 5 that her mother finally got a decent job. The only downside of that was she had to relocate after every 4 months. The woman did not have the heart to bear the thought of her daughter growing up with both of her parents nowhere to be found, so, she bought Imani everywhere she went.

Imani couldn't make friends and didn't have many memories of each country because she would just go to school and stay at home to wait for her mother. Despite that, there were still some countries that caught her heart that she cried over when she left.

send her back to Manhattan for high school. This was no different for her and had no problem with it not until she found out her mother wasn't staying with her. Because of her young age, Imani did not understand why and felt betrayed.

In Manhattan, her aunt welcomed her in her huge house. Living with her was no problem—she acted like a mother to her even though she was just in her 20s; although, this only lasted for a few weeks. Imani got used to living by herself because her aunt would be out all night. She had to look for a job that could fulfill her needs. It took months before she found a flyer that she didn't know would change everything. Babysitting—something she could do and something that could help her live.

Throughout her journey as a high school babysitter, Imani was told she was great with kids. She has a chipper personality and she happens to know what to do when they cry or when they create a fuss, how to make them happy or entertained in the most boring atmosphere, and so much more. They called it a gift. And with that gift, Imani dreamed of becoming a kindergarten teacher.

In her last year in high school, Imani returned to one of the countries that caught her heart—the Philippines. Her college life, however, was not easy; she was often belittled by her professors for her inability to speak Filipino straight and without an accent and her struggles in photography added along. But even with all the hardships, Imani did not give up on her dreams.

Who would've known a series of loathing would turn into something straight out of a romance novel? Surely, Sabine wouldn't have known as she was focused on disliking Blaze in the beginning.

Destiny brought the two together through a modeling shoot, with Sabine as Blaze's photographer. The first time Sabine saw Blaze, she caught herself mesmerized by him—he was handsome and tall, almost towering over everyone in the room, and it made Sabine's heart skip a beat; however, it didn't take long until her feelings quickly changed. Sabine found Blaze a bit cocky, he knew he was handsome and Sabine found it

a bit annoying. It was how her dislike for Blaze had started, she found him annoying and annoyingly gorgeous—she found it difficult to avoid the action of staring at him and losing her breath. Once Blaze caught this, he started to tease her and it fired more loathe in the lady.

During an outside photoshoot, with Blaze's fans waiting outside by the barrier, Sabine was busy glaring at Blaze even though he was just sitting still. She didn't realize this "glaring" turned into another series of her "staring" not until Blaze made eye contact with her. This small interaction didn't go unnoticed as articles about them started to flood and it left Sabine panicking and impulsively calling Blaze. Before she could regret the decision, Blaze was already proposing ideas and solutions. It was when Sabine realized there was more of Blaze that she overlooked and it made her feel bad.

To make up for it, Sabine left a box of brownies by his vanity one time without leaving any signs it was from her. After a few more photoshoots together, Sabine started to care for Blaze a bit more. She'd leave some iced coffee for him whenever the shoot started too early or ended later than planned, there were times she'd leave meal take-outs by his vanity whenever he'd mention he missed his meal; soon enough, she realized she'd fallen for Blaze when she started buying flowers and sweets instead. However, her plan of keeping this a secret didn't go as planned—Sabine accidentally babbled out the fact she was the one giving him the gifts. Despite revealing her feelings for him unexpectedly, Sabine never regretted it as it was the start of their beautiful relationship.

During Sabine's high school years in New York, she met Paoli. Approaching and befriending Paoli was not an easy task, not even for Sabine; however, one occurrence changed their relationship.

Back in high school, there was one professor whom most called the "epal professor". Because Paoli is empowered by her beliefs, she stood up against this teacher whose teachings opposed Paoli's moral ethics—which got in her in trouble right after. The occurrence pushed Sabine to approach Paoli and told her how she admired what the latter did. This action from Sabine warmed Paoli which resulted to their friendship in the present.

Another one of Sabine's profound struggles during college was her photography skills. This led to her questioning her passion for photography, but Katriela came in and didn't hesitate to help her out.

For the first week of Sabine's trip, she decided to walk around the beautiful beaches of Maldives. Sabine wanted to take a picture of herself with the beautiful view. Unfortunately for her, all of her shots didn't meet her expectations—that's when Katriela came along. Katriela amazed Sabine with the shots she took of Sabine after offering help and somehow became her photography coach. After that, their interactions didn't stop as they both coincidentally stayed at the same hotel and soon enough, it led to their friendship now.
